The Golden Foot is a prestigious lifetime achievement award presnted every year to the greatest player in the history of world football.
It was established in 2003 by Antonio Caliendo and current Juventus President Andrea Agnelli was first person to be awarded the prestigious trophy.
The Golden Foot winner also gets to have a cast of his foot laid down in the Champions Promenade in Monaco.
It is the only award in the world determined by football fans’ vote only from across the globe.
The Golden Football Award is one of the few trophies Lionel Messi hasn’t yet won.
