Former Manchester United defender Patrick Evra has spoken how Henry felt having Grahnit Xhaka as Arsenal captain.
Evra said Henry once invited him to his house to watch Arsenal match but switched off the TV after he saw Xhaka as captain.
The United legend made the disclosure when reacting to Xhaka’s red card in Arsenal defeat to Burnley.
“He turned on the TV, the first image we saw on the screen was Xhaka captaining the Arsenal team. Thierry Henry turned off the TV.
“He said, ‘I cannot watch my team and Xhaka being the captain of my team”
Xhaka was initially shown a yellow card for the incident for violent conduct, but referee Graham Scott changed his decision to a red after consulting the pitchside monitor at the Emirates Stadium.
Xhaka has now been shown 37 yellow cards and 3 red cards making a total of 40 cards at Arsenal.
