The Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has relaxed the curfew imposed on residents of the state preventing movement following the violence that occurred within the state.
Mr. Akinbowale Omole, Commissioner for Information in the state, said the 24-hour curfew has been reviewed and would now be in place between 8pm to 6am in a statement read;
“This is to inform the general public in Ekiti State that the state government has reviewed the period of the ongoing curfew.
“It is now from dusk to dawn, starting from 8pm to 6am.
“All members of the public are to go about their normal businesses without fear of molestation.”
