Wema Bank has introduced a new Mastercard dollar debit card and interested customers are advise to request for the card at the branches of the bank.
According to an email by the lender forwarded to PUNCH correspondent, the daily spending limits are set at $1,000, $10,000, $5,000 for daily Automated Teller Machine, Point of Sale and web transactions.
All customers would be charged a card fee of $3 and an annual fee of $10 for making use of the card and cash withdrawal on an ATM would attract $2 per transaction and no charge on PoS and web transactions.
The statement read in part;
“This card is designed for international transactions and linked directly to domiciliary accounts. Daily spending limits: ATM,$1,000; POS,$10,000; Web, $5,000”.
